Chapter 32 The problem with trimming the team was that Lennon and Rada were much more on their own. Ben had made himself sound nonchalant when talking to the more senior agents, after chasing off the younger agents on their wild goose chase, but the fact was his insides were quivering. Sure, they’d all survived worse situations without the Agency’s resources. None of those situations had happened with two civilians in tow. None of those situations had involved a civilian with whom one of the agents was in love.
