Charlie was supervising the project, but he turned and greeted her with a smile.
“Mornin’, Miss Mari. How’re you doing?”
“I’m fine. Have you got somebody you can spare to go over to the stable with me? I’m going to have to stay a while today because I have people coming to pick up their horses. I need to clean some stalls, too.”
“Reckon I can find somebody. If not, I’ll just go with you myself. I think the boys have things pretty well under control here.”
