Chapter Eleven A full month later there were wildflowers blooming across the craggy red-rock landscape, the spring desert was as refreshing as the air was cool and clean and free of winter. For a change Gretchen had comforted her when she arrived home, making a quiet place for her to rest. Elena supposed that was because Gretchen took her dreams seriously.
