Chapter 48.1: Preparing Raiden's Birthday Celebration: You Made Me The Happiest Person Alive

Since two days ago, when having dinner with the elders council, Rudra couldn't keep his hands off of me. All night he kept on telling me how hot and sexy I was and we made out most of the night. He also said that he thanked the goddesses for bringing me back to him. He thought I lost him forever and that he was willing to die if it means that he'll be with me. Rudra was so heartbroken when I died. I think his traumatised by it all and never left my sight.

I felt guilty for throwing Rudra's parents to hell and taking the souls from the elders; maybe i should of punish them a different way. I apologise to him a few times but Rudra assured me that it was ok and injusticeful for what they did to me and it was only right to pay for their crimes. It didn't make me feel any better though.

Today the pack was preparing for Raiden's birthday celebration so everyone was busy running around. Luna Mary had recovered enough for her daughter's birthday and she's just resting in her room. I think she's avoiding Rudra; afraid of him beating her again which I don't blame her. I would avoid Rudra if I was in her shoes. I also brought Rudra's parents back from hell and they were traumatised and was in a daze for a day but they seem better now. I gave back the elders's souls back. I made sure that they didn't remember what happened at dinner. I didn't want people talking and giving them more reasons to hate me.

Alpha Johnson tried to get my attention a few times. He wanted to say his gratitude for stopping Rudra from killing his wife and offer to show me around his pack but Rudra was quick to shut him down. He doesn't trust him to be alone with me, which I agree with; so instead, Rudra has been showing me around the pack cause he been here many times. He showed me everything and told me the history of the pack.

"What are you thinking in that pretty little head of yours, my love?" Rudra asked gently. We were on the balcony and I was just staring at the scenery; enjoying the view.

"Nothing much" I answered simply. Rudra frowned.

"I know you're lying, my love. Tell me what's troubling you?" He asked with a caring tone. I signed, I couldn't lie to him.

"I just feel guilty"

"Guilty about what?" He asked in confusion. Concern written all over his face.

"I feel guilty to what I done to the elders and your parents" I said quietly. Rudra took my hands, rubbing it in circular motion. It was comforting.

"Rani, I told you many times that you shouldn't feel guilty to what you did to them. You had every right to lash out on them" he said sincerely.

"But it still wasn't right what I did to them. I just proved to them that I am a monster" I said sadly and looking down. Rudra scrunched up his face. He looked mad. He lifted my chin with his index finger so that I was facing him. He looked at me dead in the eyes.

"Listen here Rani, I'm going to say this once and only once cause you know I don't like repeating myself. You are not a monster. For goddess sake you feeling guilty just prove that you're not a monster. So stop it. There is no need to be feel guilty" he said sternly.

"Ok. I won't" I assured him. His face soften.

"Good. Now where's that smile that I love to see?" He teased. I gave him a big smile.

"There it is. Can I have a kiss, beautiful?" He asked softly and pucking up his lips that made me snort. I grabbed his face and kissed him passionately. He lifted me up by the waist making me wrap my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck. He was carrying me to the bed while still kissing me and gently lay me on the bed. He looked at straight through my eyes.

"I love you, my pretty little demon" he said and admiring me.

"I love you too" I replied softly. He raised his brow at me. I rolled my eyes, knowing what he expected to hear.

"I know, dido" I said thoughtfully. He smiled and went back to kissing me. He bit my bottom lip so that his tongue can have access. I obliged and granted it. He slide in his tongue and exploring my mouth. Our tongue was dancing together and I love every bit of it. Rudra was stated to grind on me. I moaned in his mouth. I felt him rumble from his chest. He was enjoying it as much as I was. He was about to unbutton my trousers when there was a knock on the door. Rudra groaned in frustration. I giggled which he gave me butterflies kisses over my face. There was another knock on the door. He grumbled. He got off of me and went straight to the door.

"What? I'm busy" Rudra snapped.

"Sorry prince Rudra but I'm here to remind you that Lady Raiden's birthday celebration will be starting at eight in the evening" the servant said respectfully.

"How can I forget" he said sarcastically.

"Fine. We be ready by then. You can leave now" he said dismissively and closing the door behind him. He took a deep sigh.

"I guess we should get ready. It's already six thirty" he said frustrated.

"But it doesn't mean we couldn't have some fun in the mean time" Rudra said smugly and before I could respond, he fling me over his shoulder and headed to the bathroom.

"Rudra what are you doing? I more than capable of walking by myself" I stated.

"I know but I like carrying you and I'm going to clean you up" he replied playfully and smacked my ass. I yelped .

"And we can have some fun at the sametime" he added with humour in his voice and went straight into the bathroom.

Me and Rudra was finally ready for the Raiden's birthday celebration after a few time making out in the shower. He couldn't help himself and said that he can't resist of touching me. It didn't really bothered me really. Rudra dressed me before he did himself. I offered to help dress him but he refused and said I didn't need to do that anymore and he don'twant me to lift a finger, so I left it alone. I was wearing a black knee length dress that show my back with straps three inch heels. Rudra was wearing a black suite with a black tie and crisp white shirt and black shoes. He wanted us to match so that everyone knows that we belong together. I wasn't fuss about it cause it made him happy. We were about to leave when Rudra stopped.

"One moment, my love. I forgot something" he said and went to the bedside table. He opened the draw and took out the a small box. He walked up to me and gave it to me.

"This is for you. Open it" he said eagerly. So I opened it and what I saw was a ruby ring and it's band was shape as a dragon. I cover my mouth with my free hand and gasped.

"Rudra, this is beautiful. You didn't need give me this" I said thoughtfully. I looked back up to thank Rudra but to my surprise, he was bend down with one knee and looking up to me. He took the box out of my hand.

"Rani, my love, my shining star, my peace. The moment I lay eyes on you, I thought you were the most beautiful person I have ever seen and I fell in love with you since that day at the auction. I didn't wanted to go at first but something told me that I should and I was glad that I did cause I wouldn't of met you. So would you do me an honor to by my wife, my pretty little demon?" Rudra asked lovingly, a twinkle in his eyes. I was speechless. My eyes was watery and my tears was starting threatening to spill out. My lips was trembling. I must of been staring at the ring for to long cause Rudra was looking nervous.

"Rani, my love, please say something cause you're making me nervous" he said nervously. He think I'm upset of reposal? I'm over the moon. I couldn't help but starting crying. Rudra panicked. He shot up and pulled me to his chest, stroking my back to comfort me.

"Why are you crying? Is it too soon? I'm sorry, my love. I should of waited" he said with remorse. I shook my head.

"No it's not that. I just very emotionally. This is the sweetest thing you ever done for me. This is happy tears" I sniffed and hiccupped in between the words. Rudra signed with relief.

"Is that a yes then?" He asked and sounding hopeful.

"Yes, yes I'll marry you, swamp beast" I said emotionally.

"Really? You really want to marry me?" He asked to make sure. He was searching my face if I really wanted this.

"Yes, Rudra, I want to marry you. I want to be your wife" I said excitedly. Rudra lit up and was grinning. He slide the ring on my finger and spinned me around a few times. I was laughing at his excitement. He put me down and kissed me. Giving me all of his emotions into it.

"You don't know how happy I am to hear you say that. I'm happiest man alive and I can't believe you'll be mine" he said as he was kissing me all over my face. I giggled.

"I wouldn't of guessed otherwise" I teased.

"I love you, my pretty little demon" Rudra said softly with so much passion in his voice and looking at me lovingly.

"I know, dido. I love you too" I said sweetly, looking up at him with so much love in my eyes. I nuzzled him and he nuzzled back and licked my scar.

"Come, my love. Lets get this party over with, shall we?" he said as he took my hand in his. Locking are fingers together and head out of the room; feeling happy and content. Now all we have to do is get through the birthday celebration. Lets get this party started.
