Izora
When everyone sat down for class, Azariah convinced the teacher to switch seats with Azrael. Azrael was sitting with Seoho across the room, he looked over at me with a sad look. I frowned and laid my head on my arm. Azariah is trying to replace Azrael in any way possible.
“Okay, guys please listen up.” Mr. Beom-soo spoke as he walked in, “I have some sad news to share with you guys. Ha Rin was found dead this morning on her way to school.” I felt my blood freeze, I turned to look at Azariah. He was looking at me with a smile. That uneasy smile. “It looks like a wolf attacked her, due to the bite and scratch marks that were found on her body. We also want you guys to be careful. Wolves are not our friends, especially Vampires.”
The whole class started murmuring. It can't be Azariah, right? Him a wolf, I can't see it. Because of the incident that happened with Ha Rin, we aren't having classes for today. I went to my locker and Azariah came up to me. “We're going somewhere.”
“Where to?” I asked as I placed my books in my locker.
“It's a secret.” He smiled.
“Does Azrael know?” I closed my locker and looked at him.
His face went dark, “No. It's just you and me. I want to be alone with you.” he started walking forward, backing me up in the locker. “Can't I spend some time with my fiancé?”
“I'm not your fiancé. Stop talking nonsense Azariah.” I almost got away, but he backed me up completely and placed his arm on the locker. He leaned close, I could feel his breath by my neck. I glared at and pushed him away, but that made him more aggressive.
He grabbed me by my neck throwing me against the locker, and leaned in, “Listen Z, I don't want to hurt you. Why must you be so difficult? I just want us to be together. You know how much you mean to me. I just want some time alone with my love. You don't want me to hurt your friends right? I don't want to harm you, so just listen to me.” he punched the locker with his other hand, making me wince.
Before I knew it, someone pushed Azariah off me. I fell to the ground, trying to catch my breath. When I looked over, I saw Leedo walking towards me, and he picked me up, bridal style.
He glanced over to my brother who was on the floor, “Next time you lay your dirty animal hands-on Izora, I will rip them off you. She will be under my protection from this moment on.” and walked away with me.
I laid my head on Leedo's chest, “Thank you.” I whispered. I felt him smile. I slowly fell asleep in his arms.
When I woke up, I was in the car with Leedo. I looked around, trying to think where we were going. I looked over at Leedo.
“We're going to Fun Island. And don't worry I texted your brother.” It was like he was reading my mind. He smirked and showed me the message he sent my brother. “I want to distract you a bit. I hope you don't mind having fun with me today.”
I giggled, “I wouldn't mind. Thank you.” The light changed to red, I leaned over and kissed him on the cheek, “You're sweeter than you seem.” I smiled at him and I continued looking outside.
It took us about an hour and a half to reach the amusement park. I got out of the car and looked in amazement. It's huge!
I ran up to Leedo, “I've never been to an amusement park before. Can we ride all the rides? Do they sell cotton candy? Do they have those cute game stalls where we can win huge prizes?”
Leedo laughed, “Calm down. Yes, they have all that. Let's make sure to have fun, okay?” He extended his hand to me, I smiled and intertwined my hand with his.
We ran inside. There were so many rides, I didn't know where to start. I saw a booth that sold cute headbands. I ran over and grabbed one with kitten ears, “Leedo, come here.” He walked over and I placed them on his head. I giggled, “Cute.”
He grabbed the same one and placed it on my head, “Cute.” He giggled.
We rode almost every ride. We found a booth that sold a giant koala and Leedo won it for me. It was bigger than me. We got some cotton candy and walked towards the beach. The sun was setting and the view was beautiful. We sat in the sand and huddled closer.
He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer, “It's cold,” he whispered. I smiled and sat quietly.
“It's beautiful isn't it?” I said softly.
“Is it?” I turned around to look at him and noticed him staring at me. “I was too busy looking at something more beautiful.”
Smooth. We locked eyes and I felt my face burn up. Why is this guy so handsome? A fun day, a beautiful sunset with a handsome guy, who wouldn't fall for this.
He leaned in closer, I slowly closed my eyes and felt his lips on mine. I kissed him back, wrapping my arms around his neck and intertwining my fingers into his hair, he pulled me closer.
He pulled away slowly, placing his forehead on mine, “I hope you let me get closer to you. I want to infiltrate every part of you.” He kissed me again but more aggressively.
When we got home, Azariah was waiting outside, with a dark look. “Where did you go?”
I walked past him, “None of your business.” I stopped halfway, “Leedo will be staying over. So please keep your distance.” Leedo followed behind me and smirked at Azariah.
“You are stepping down a line that you don't want to cross. I promise you, nothing good will come out of you acting like this.” Azariah said.
“Stop threatening our sister, Azariah. I won't allow you to hurt her.” Azrael came to the door and held my hand. “She's our little sister. We are supposed to look after her, not upset her.”
I turned to look at Azrael, “Leedo will be staying over.”
He nodded and motioned us in.
Azrael and Azariah stayed out, “We will see Azrael. If you have to go too, I'll make it happen.” Azariah turned and left.
