I felt my knees go weak. Keonhee ran up to me, “Come with me.” He pulled me by my hand and lead me to the gym. When we were alone, he hugged me, “I’m sorry. I’m sorry I didn’t find you sooner.”
I pushed him away, “Why are you all acting weird. I’m fine, nothing changes. I just went out for one night…” Keonhee stopped me as he saw that I wasn’t going to stop.
“Izora stop. Just listen to me. You probably won’t like it.” He hesitated before speaking again, “You’re becoming a Dark Vampire.”
My lips started quivering as I tried not to cry. “No. I can’t be. Why would I be the thing I hate the most? No. I’m not, stop lying.” I grabbed him.
“There is a mark behind your neck. New Dark Vampires have it.” He took out a mirror and gave it to me. I walked over to the mirror by the door, I didn’t want to check, but I knew I had too. I slowly bought the small mirror behind my neck and noticed a mark.
Tears slowly started flowing from my eyes. I felt like I was choking on air. Keonhee came close, but I stopped him. “I want to be alone.”
“But…”
“Leave me alone!” He bit his lip before leaving. When he left I let myself cry, I slowly reached for my phone.
I dialed quickly and waited for an answer, “Daddy?”
Azrael’s POV
Izora didn’t show up all day. I hate myself for not protecting her the way I needed too. Keonhee came back and sat down next to me.
“Is she still there?” I asked him. He nodded and sighed, “I shouldn’t have treated her like so. She probably hates me.” I held my head in my hands and cried. How could I treat my sister so bad, when she didn’t know what had happened to her. I’m a horrible brother.
Narrator’s POV
After five hours passed by, both Izora and Azrael stayed where they were. A couple walked into the school. The teachers were too frightened to speak them until the Principle came out of his office to greet them.
They wore a very emotionless face. They walked down the halls as the Principle spoke, “This so sudden, did something happen to your kids?”
“Have everyone leave, expect a group called Oneus and the twins. Everyone must leave now and close the school.” The woman spoke firmly.
“But Madam…”
“Did you not hear what my wife said? Or will you understand in another way.” He lifted up his dark shades and showed his white eyes to the Principle.
“No, I understand. Right away sir.” The Principle walked away and did as told.
“You go get the boys, I’ll find Izora.” The wife told her husband.
They both split and went to look for the kids. Azrael was in class when the door slammed open. Everyone looked at awe at the man walking in. Azrael quickly stood from his seat and clenched his hands.
“Disgraceful.” The man turned and faced Azrael. “Get your friends and let’s go.” He said firmly and walked out.
Azrael quickly motioned the guys to walk out and texted the rest to head to the gym. Keonhee, Leedo, and Seoho got close to Azrael. “Who is that? You look sick.” Leedo asked.
“That man with no emotion. Sadly, that’s my Father.” He answered.
“Why is here?” Keonhee asked.
“Why else. Izora.”
They all made it to the gym. When they went inside, Izora was in her Mother’s arms. The guys looked sad at how Izora was. Seoho’s heart broke as he saw her, but he felt like what he did was for her own good.
The man went up to Azrael and smacked him real hard. The guys gasped at what they witnessed. Izora quickly looked up and ran up to defend her brother, “Stop, it isn’t his fault. It’s mine, I was being a brat. So hit me!”
Azrael pushed his sister aside, “I deserve it. I didn’t protect you the way I was supposed to.”
“Clark, stop honey.” Their mom went up and kissed Azrael where his Father hit him.
Clark cleared his throat, “For one, the darkness can be removed. So, your Mother and I will remove it.” Seoho tried to protest but Leedo and Keonhee stopped him. “Secondly, Azariah will start attending this school with both of you, since Azrael doesn’t know how to protect.”
Both Azrael and Izora’s faces went white. “Azariah?” Izora stuttered, “Father, he doesn’t need to come. We’ll be fine.”
Clark laughed, “Your brother will be coming to this school, whether you like it or not. Cortana, let’s start.” He grabbed Izora’s hand and laid her on the floor. Cortana kissed her son once more and smiled at the guys.
“Once we are done, please protect her. She is more special than her brothers. I guess this Dark Vampire knew what she was.” She spoke as she looked at Seoho. She smiled, “Let’s hope it doesn’t happen again.”
She went opposite to her husband. They started chanting and a white glow started floating around them. Izora started screaming at the pain, making the guys scared. She started gagging and a black goo like creature crawled out her mouth. Her parents started chanting louder and glowed stronger.
When the black creature finally came out, Clark threw a blue flame at it killing it. Seoho bleed in his mouth a little and almost fell over until the guys held on to him. Seoho was determined to make Izora his, and this wasn’t going to stop him, little did he know the huge obstacle in his away.
When everything was done, Clark and Cortana left with Izora so she can rest, and school continued. The guys were all bummed out, just them the teacher came in with a new student. “Guys please meet Azariah. Izora’s and Azrael’s brother. They’re actually triplets.”
“Nice to meet you, I’m Azariah.”
