‘Come on in here; help me look for it... You’ve made a terrible mess in your room!’ Ted sighed. A bit irritated, he went inside and gave his wife the key. ‘Here, take it. I’ll be waiting outside.’ He walked down the stairs. To leave the building he just had to walk along the corridor leading to the atrium. Through the window he could see a warm, blue sky. Suddenly Ted saw one of the bodyguards, running towards him. He saw a gun in the man’s hand. He didn’t even have the time to get scared. ‘To the wall!’ the bodyguard shouted, turning around while running, to shield Ted. Ted instinctively clung to the wall, his body reacting before he had time to think. He heard a gunshot. Behind the bodyguard, for a split second he saw a figure wearing a balaclava. ‘What is happening?’ he thought.
