Chapter 3: Issue

Kim's POV:

"I'm an elf like you" she said and revealed her pointy ears.

"What are you doing here?"

"I can't go back to our homeland.." She slowly shaked her head and put her beanie back.

"Why?" I asked but she just shook her head and smiled.

"Its nothing special.. Come on, lets go! our break time is not long you know" she said and grabbed my hand.

I'm really curious on what happened to her? We elves have complex society and even we ourselves put pride and dont get along too well and I know what and how it feels. Being set aside and make fun of.

"Hey, Uhmn.. my name is Kim" I walked in front of her and formally introduces myself.

"Oh.. Nice to meet you Kim, I'm Victoria" we smiled and giggled.

"Excuse me!!" This deep tone is familiar.

"Can you please don't shout..We can hear you we're not deaf!" I furrowed.

"Then are you blind! Can't you see that this is a doorway there's the table!" He pointed at the table and walked away.

Tss'

"What are you doing Kim? Didn't you know that he is-"

"Tsh.. I don't care" I said as we said at the table.

He's definitely have superiority complex and have bad attitude with a bad reputation. I can sense his cold blooded aura but it's not strong enough to make me scared.

"Let's order we can leave our bags here"

We walked and ordered the regulars and we took a sit at the table. After we finished eating i saw my cute little sister.

"Azelia Here!!" I waved to attract her attention.

"You already ate?"

"Uhm yeah, actually were about to attend our afternoon class after this"

"Ahh.. Okay" she said whilst putting her bag beside her. I cant seem to notice but a human also sat with us.

"Whose this?" I pointed at the guy.

"Oh.. This is Keth my Classmate"

Tsk* Tsk*

"I told you Azelia, find someone whose worthy to be your friend"

"Sis.. Keth is different and reliable.. He's not like the other humans."

"Azelia, You even said it yourself Humans cannot be trusted." She didn't respond.

"I hungry, I'm going to get food." She get up from sitting and left.

Azelia's POV:

'Azelia, You even said it yourself Humans cannot be trusted'

What Kim said kept repeating over and over in my head that made me remember the most horrifying and worst memories I wished I never knew I had.

~Flashback~

"Azelia! Listen, You and your older sister need to hide and escape from here.. Don't worry about us and run.."

"But--"

"Just Go.. Leave!!" My sister grabbed my hand and we run far enough just to see our house got burned by humans. I felt so much guilt and pressure that it made me puke.

"Its all my fault.. Mom and Dad was right.. Humans cannot be trusted" i rubbed my hands into my teary eyes.

"Shush.. its going to be alright.. Its going to be alright" she reassured me and hugged me slowly. Even though i can't see her face i can feel her crying with me as we watched our house got burnt into ashes alongside with my dead parents.

~End of Flashback~

"Hey.. You alright?"

"Its okay.. Don't worry about me.. oh yeah, where did they go?" I shook my head and asked changing the topic.

"They already left to attend their afternoon class"

"I see.." I nodded and waited in line.

"Are you sure?"

"Am I sure what?"

"That you're okay?"

"Hahaha.. I said don't worry about it.. My sister is always like that cause' she doesn't like you humans.." i laughed.

"Can I get the regular ple--" I didn't finish when the door banged opened.

"What is it that you don't understand Thea!?.."

"A-Alex just please listen to me! I-I can't live without you Alex! Please!" You can see Thea knealing on the floor while begging at him.

"Thea, do you know how painful it is to see your girlfriend having s*x with someone.. and seeing her as if she enjoys it." He said and look away just to let his tears fall into his cheeks.

"I-I didn't know what happened I was drugged! Alex! Drugged!"

"Then explain Thea!! if you're drugged why do you keep calling for his name and worse that person who you just f*cked with is my best friend."

"Alex I-I can expla-"

"Thea.. you know that Mike is drunked that night and slept inside the hotel.. a few minutes later you said that your just going to pee and left.. I knew something was wrong when you took too long peeing at the restroom.. I even checked the restroom and saw you from nowhere.. I searched for you for god who-knows how long and hoped that nothing happened to you.. I was worried Thea" he smiled bitterly.

"Alex I-"

"It just so funny that I was looking for you everywhere looking like a f*cking i***t!" he sarcastically laughed and you can see his face changed into serious as if he's not affected at all.

"Alex, let me explain please" she held her hand and as she touches his hands he took it instantly.

He's mad

"Thea, you made me looking like an i***t while my sl*t girlfriend and my drunked best friend is together having a good darn f*cking time." He smiled forcefully and left the canteen.

Pak*

'She slapped him right at the cheeks and Alex looked pissed'

"A-Alex wait!!" Thea saw him walked out the canteen and look at the other people whispering. "Arghh!!!.. What are you people looking at!!" She screamed at the audience.

"Alex!!" She shouted and left the canteen.

'Damn.. humans are indeed different'

The people continued minding their business while some of them murmured about what happened a while ago. I finished eating and left the canteen with Keth.

Afternoon Dismissal

"Are you going home with Kim?" Keth.

"Uhm.. Yeah why?" I asked and he just shake his head.

"Nothing.. take care" he smiled and left.

'What gotten into him?'

As I walked my way home around the campus. I saw a big beautiful tree that remind me of home.

'Pink and lovely petals'

I walked to it and sat. I was mesmerized and remembered a unpleasent childhood memory of mine.
