Chapter 6: limitations

Azelia POV:

"Go!! SELENITIES!!"

"WOOO!!!!"

I think I'm going deaf just hearing them scream.

"Hey!! HEY!!! Keth!" I called keth and it seems he can't hear me. "Keth!!!!" I waved and called for his attention again and he did heard me for the second time.

"What!?" He asked as he continued cheering.

"What is going on!?" I bend my foot to match his height and lowly shouted in his ear.

"Ahh, it's an special expidition for prestige universities only chosen by the Imperial Government!" He lowly shouted in my ear in reply. "There will be an examination that will determine if you're chosen to be apart of this program!" He added and continued to cheer again.

"Now!.. Now!.. Luckily, this year we're one of the chosen universities to be apart of an important expetion.. I expect you Selenities to give your very best and show other prestigious universities what the SIS students are made for!!" He ended and left a crowd of applause and excitement.

After Mr. Vaen long speech Dean Enriquez shared his story about his very first special expedition that happened decades ago. We are at the Quadrangle for quite a while and the speech is finally finished and we went back to our class.

I heard the other students and faculty teachers talked about the upcoming examination. They said that only students who qualify with good grades and have qualities of being a good leader is chosen. This event also gives students big incentives and provide them a huge amount of money and fame after they come back from the .

"Keth, are all students required to take the exam?"

"Yeah, There is a superstition that some students who didn't want to be apart of the program are selected unexpectedly.. so you don't have a choice but to take it." I didn't notice that were already at the canteen after his long explaination. "This Expedition will be taken place at the Land of Oath."

"What is this Land of Oath?"

"Its the old continent for us humans.. It dates back from the old ancient book written by the gods themselves.. It says that the Land of Oath was destroyed and cursed that's why us, humans went and find a new place for us to live."

"Ahh, that's unfortunate.." We place our bags to the table and went in line.

"Well, are you signing in?" He said while ordering for his food.

"Uhnm, I don't know.. If Kim's want to join then I will probably sign in aswell." I said and grab our tray filled with foods and went to our table.

"I don't know about that.. your sister would probably will not consider it since we humans are apart of it." He shrugged and we finish our foods.

I really am interested at the reaserch expedition but If Kim's not joining then I don't have any reasons to sign in aswell.

But what about the superstition?'

"Shhkkkk.. What a lie"

"What lie!?" I stood up unconsciously and realized I was already at my class.

"Ms. Dela Vega!! What are you muttering at the back?!"

"Nothing Ma'am.."

"Tsk. Tsk. Its disrespectful how I'm here teaching here in front while you students at the back have your own worlds.. What if we switch places here, you students teach while I'm here listening.." She said making the class silence. She put her hand at her forehead and shook in disappoinment. "Okay.. If you do listened well in my class you can answer this quiz" she said and the entire room exclaimed.

After the long quiz we pass our papers to our teacher and dismissed the class.

"Ugh.. I didn't get to review. If someone just listened, we could've easily avoid a quiz" one of my classmates complained pertaining to me, Obviously.

"You're so right.. If I were them I would just shut my mouth" I looked at her and caught her staring at me and she rolled her eyes..

If I have my bow at me your eyes probably already in the ground'

I felt annoyed but I kept my cool and left to the bathroom.

I cheered myself up and decided to take a pee when.

"Oh my ghad! Haven't you heard yet? Liz?"

"Gurl.. What? Spit it out.."

"Alex is officially single again!! Kyaaa!!"

Tsk. Can't they just shut up already geez'

"What!! OMG!! Are Thea and Alex broken up!?"

"Uh No.. Duh, Of course he's single and wait there's more"

"I heard he's joining the reaserch expeditionnnn!!!... Wait for me, Alex of my life!!! Kyaa!!"

"Oh my goodness!! I can't wait to take the test.. wait, but what if he's not chosen?"

"Oh my god.. Liz are you this dumb?! Of course he's going to be chosen.. Haler, He's the son owner of SIS.. For once Liz, use your brain.. hah?"

"Huhuhuhu.. you're so mean, ugh anyway let's go.. its class time."

After sitting there for countless of minutes I washed my hands and went back to class.

Afternoon Dismissal.

"Ahh Keth, I'm going to go early ha, Kim's will be worried if I went home late again okay" I smiled and he thumbs up and waved goodbye.

I walked across the Quadrangle and went at the gate when.

"Kim?" I saw her in the wet floor unconscious.

"Kim!!" I ran toward her and checked her breathing and a pulse. I can feel a pulse and her breathing seems normal.

Thank god, Its not that serious'

"What happened!?" I looked at the person who did it.

"Oh you're the girl who blocked me the other day near the canteens door.. am I right?" I waited and calm my itching palm for her face.

"What did you do?" I calmly asked and she shrugged.

"Oh Nothing, I'm in a bad mood and unfortunately for her, she's there in front of me." She smirked and it irritates me.

What I hate the most is when people hurt my family'

"Ahh it's getting late, before I forgot.. Tell your sister have a fast recovery." She said and smirked at me and left as she shakes her hips side to side.

Before I got triggered I dial a taxi and carried her into a nearest hospital.
