Chapter 8: Accident or an Incident

Azelia POV:

After Thea left, In rush I didn't notice Keth and Kim's Friend approached me.

"What happened?" Keth and Kim's Friend.

"I found her in the floor with Thea." I said and their faces became worried and shock.

"What!? W-What did she say to you?" Keth worriedly asked.

"She just said that she had a bad day and Kim's in front of her and she probably tripped her."

We called the cab and we stopped at the hospital near our apartment we lived in.

"What happened to the patient?" The nurse after hurriedly approached us.

"She tripped" I said shortly.

"Thea must be crazy! Even though she broke up with Alex doesn't mean she need to let it out by harassing other students." Kim's Friend said with furrowed eyebrows.

Sigh'

They put Kim into a stretcher and transfer into her into an empty hospital bed. Then the nurse continue to checked her breathing and pulse, shortly after she applied a first aid.

"Excuse me." Nurse approached us. "I need the consent of a guardian to fully check on her situation-"

"Me.. I-I'm her Sister."

"I'm really sorry but I need the consent of your parents."

"Our parents are dead." I said, she simply nods and grabbed a medical chart and told me to sign a consent for her.

"I'm so sorry for your loss." I nodded. "I will call in for an available doctor to diagnose her condition." She said and left.

"I think it's best for you guys to go home." I said and they looked at me.

"But what about you?" Keth worryingly said.

"I'm fine you guys go home, I'm sure your parents are worried about you guys." I reassured them.

"Are you sure? I can help you look for your sister." I shook my head.

"Mm. I'm fine, thanks" I said shortly.

"Don't worry about it Azelia, Kim's going to be fine." I simply put in a smile. "Oh I forgot, I haven't introduce myself to you. My name's Victoria nice to meet you." She smiled and I just nodded.

" Azelia.. we'll be taking our way home. Its getting late eh. Don't you worry about Keth, I will assure you that he can go home safe. Hmm" she reasured me and I smiled.

"Mm. Nice to meet you Victoria, and Keth.. Take care."

"Mm. You too" he smiled and left.

This is going to be harder than I thought.. Sigh'

Keth POV:

Hi!

~Flashback~

"Coach! I'm going to go early" I said and approached him. My teammates look at us.

"Why? I noticed that your skipping our practice pretty frequently this days." He asked.

"Umm, It's urgent" I lied.

"Hmm. I will let you skip this once but promise that your going to make it up by practicing every day in a week."

"Mm. Yes coach." I smiled.

Shortly after I went to the quadrangle and saw Azelia and Thea talking to each other while Kim's in the floor unconscious.

I saw Thea left and I decided to run after her. While running, I saw her dial a phone number and then pick Kim up.

"What happened?"

"You're late." Dad as usual in his strict mood.

If school is hell for everybody well it's different in my case. For me, School is my comfort place and heaven. wherein I can be free and do everything I want.

"We have practice.." I lied.

"7 o' clock' in the evening.. I don't think your practice can take this long?" I walked into the kitchen and asked our house helper to make me dinner.

Tsh'

"Dad.. Can you please? Our coach told us it's going to be a long practice. Of course, we practice there for this long." I reasoned out and he look like he believed me.

"Mmm. Well then, How's your studies?" He changed the subject and elevate the conversation.

"Good.. I guess" i said shortly.

Shortly after and my food is cooked and ready. I rushed eating my food to avoid dad.

"Your Sister finished her studies at the capital and become a Lawyer there. Next year, you will be transferring in the capit-"

"W-What?! No way!" I agressively refused him while looking at him with anger.

"Keth Saint Alejandro! You'll be transferring into the capital, you like it or not." Dad authoritatively said.

I looked at him with furrowed eyebrows and walked angrily into my room.

Sigh'

Then I laid my whole body into the soft king sized bed. Shortly after I went to the bathroom and decided to take shower.

I open the faucet and let the water pour into my n***d body. My growing emotions of anger and hatred slowly fade and fall like the droplets of the rainshower.

Azelia POV:

After they left, The nurses told me that there are no doctors available and they asked me if I was willing to confine Kim. I agreed and they transfer her into an empty room where patients were confined.

"If you need any assistance just press this button and we'll help you." I simply smiled at her and she smiled back in response.

Tsk' if you'd become more kind and talk nicer maybe you wouldn't have gotten in these situations'

I look at her and I gently stroke her hair behind her ears. I can now see how big the gauze in her forehead is. It's a pretty big scar if ever it didn't healed.

Tsh' I know you wouldn't like that'

I suddenly laughed quietly while imagining how would she react if ever she saw a scar on her forehead.

Few minutes in and I felt drowsy and soon later I find myself dozed off and fall into slumber.

Saturday!

Early in the morning the nurses woked me up and told me that the doctor will soon be here in the afternoon. She also tend my sister and changed her gauze. I looked at my sister and she's still unconscious.

Bzzt*

From Keth:

Hi! I'm just checking on Kim. How is she? And What about you? Do you already ate?

Awww'

To Keth:

She's fine, we confined her here and I'm doing alright hahahahaha. Don't worry about me though, but thank you.?

I replied and put my phone in the bedside table. Few minutes later.

Bzzt* Bzzt*

I picked it up again and three messages appeared one from Victoria (Kim's Friend) and two from Keth.

From Victoria:

Good morning ❤️ Azelia! How's your sister? I'm going to go visit you okay?

Awww, thanks'

To Victoria:

Thanks, she's still unconcerned, just hours ago they changed her gauze and they said that the doctor will be available soon in the afternoon.

I clicked back and tap Keth message.

From Keth:

I'll visit you there and bring you food okay?

Bring me Food? Ahh.. maybe for Kim.

From Keth:

I mean.. I'll bring you guys fruits there.. I will be there soon.

He's acting so weird lately'

To Keth:

Mm. We'll be here.

I replied and went to take a small nap.
