"Are you okay?" Helion mind-linked his mate. For the first time in weeks, he did that freely.
"I'm good. I need to take a nap before morning. I had an intense night, Alpha." She teased, and he couldn't help but chuckle. Finally, she was free and even teased him.
"Goodnight, Luna. We'll talk tomorrow." He replied before she went silent.
He craved her presence more, but she was exhausted after running around past midnight. He had to let her be.
Releasing a sigh, he sank into his desk. The piles of documents were waiting, and he knew it was going to be a long night.
