Heartbreak ?

Prologue

I thought love was the ultimate, I didn't know how wrong I was till I met Damian.

I had always believed that once two people were in love it wiped away their flaws in each other's eyes.

To me, Damian was the definition of perfection but that was apparently not the same for him as I later on found out.

Well our meeting was what some would describe as cliche...but I have to admit that Damien swept me off my feet the moment I saw him

I really do not know what changed, but I was very sure we were doing well. Though there were slip ups here and there...I never read meaning into it.

I wish I had read the signs and interpreted them, maybe I'd have saved our relationship from this doom.

I watched as Damian drifted apart from me, and I had no clue on what to do to salvage our relationship, but I still had hope that our relationship would survive till he released the sentence that shattered my heart.

"I gave it my all, and now am done".

That day I heard the sound of something shattering.

I think that was my heart ?.
