Amazing.” Mia squealed, practically bouncing as she circled me like a giddy fangirl. “Your hair is so shiny, and that dress…” She fanned herself dramatically. “That dress was made for you. You’re going to kill it tonight.” I chuckled, trying to swallow the nerves bubbling up in my chest. “Wouldn’t count on it.” I stared at my reflection, tuning Mia’s rambling out. My luscious wave Mia helped style with her magic hands and half a can of hairspray, the bright red painted on my lips, bringing out my blue eyes, the dress wasn’t making matters any better.
