As usual, Lucien was copped up in his study focused on work. He had just finished looking through and signing the document needed to carry out the launch of his company’s new Jewelry series, when his computer beeped several times.
Glancing in the device’s direction, he sighed and answered the incoming call.
“Lucien.” Harrison’s face displayed on the other side. The male was smiling broadly, but as soon as he saw his best friend working, that smile disappeared. “Dude, it’s a Saturday.”
Lucien, who understood his words simply stated without looking up from his work. “Doesn’t matter, time waits for no one.”
