It was probably a stupid thing to say, but he couldn’t take it back now.
Lucien’s gaze on him seemed to be tearing him in half. The atmosphere had surprisingly dropped in temperature, and if Darius wasn’t mistaking, the lighting of the hospital had dimmed as well.
He knew he had done… said something he shouldn’t have. Probably pushed the wrong button of the country’s biggest business tycoon. If he’d survive the night after that stare, he’d thank God.
When Lucien had not shook his hand, Darius retracted his hand and stuffed it into his pocket, exhaling through his lips in that moment.
“Alexandra is currently resting.” He informed the glaring man.
Sadly, his words fell on deaf ears. Lucien’s ears- for some reason, had been ringing since the announcement of his introduction.
