Gareth kept his gaze on Serah the whole time, but still gave her the space so she could find whatever she sought. He knew better than anyone how harsh this room could be. There were several times where he found himself trapped inside while confronting his worst nightmare. There was some fear in Serah’s eyes but she was scanning her surroundings resolutely. He admired her strength. Well, everything about her left him in awe.
