Heather tapped her feet restlessly, staring unseeingly at Natalia and her friends who conversed animatedly in front of her. The girls tried including her in the conversation, dropping the occasional comments or outright questioning her. But this annoyed her to no end. Couldn't they tell she was otherwise preoccupied right now? Gareth left her on her own yet again to run off somewhere. And her every instinct told her he had gone to see Serah.
No longer able to stand it, she briskly stood up. "I'll check why Gareth's taking so long."
"He said he'll come here as soon as he's done." Natalie reasoned. "If we leave then we might miss him."
