Serah had a hard time believing her eyes. "Asher? Why are you here?"
"I saw you leaving the school." He replied levelly. "And you weren't picking up your phone, so I followed you here."
Now she remembered silencing her phone because she wanted some time alone.
"Tell me what happened." He said, staring at her expectantly.
"Nothing." She mumbled uncomfortably.
"From you expression just now, it doesn't seem like nothing, so just tell me."
She shuffled on her feet uncomfortably. “But it’s really nothing.”
He stared at her probingly for several seconds. Then he suddenly reached out and snagged her palm. “Come with me.” He said, turning on his heels and pulling her along.
