Serah took an involuntary step backwards as all the girls advanced on her menacingly. She knew she had no chance of escaping with her life if they really tried to harm her. And the hallways were still deserted. Not that any of the students here would be willing to help her. Other than her friends, that is. When she started panicking inwardly, someone finally showed up at the end of the corridor. But one look at the guy's face and her heart shuddered with dread.
As soon as his eyes connected to hers, Owen's lips lifted in a smirk. It left no doubt about his intentions towards her. As if her situation wasn't dire enough. The girls paused in their advance to focus on him.
"What are you doing?" Owen demanded, stopping right in front of Natalia.
"Isn't it obvious?" The girl pertly replied.
