Maia’s POV
Ron and I are seated together at the backseat of our pickup truck, while Beta Toby is the one driving. We have been on the road for quite a while now, and he has just taken a turn that seems to be leading to the middle of nowhere.
The car is now literally driving in between trees inside the forest.
“Toby, are you sure you know where we are going?” I ask him, as I look outside at the thick trees surrounding us in every direction.
“Yes Alpha, I do. Just sit tight, I’ll get us there. The wolf I was talking to gave me clear directions of where to find the Oracle… Trust me, it’s this way,” he says.
“Okay, you just get us there then,” I add.
