My Dad once told me that you could gauge a person’s fighting skills by how much or how less they talked just before combat. I mean, I would never have imagined that I would be using that information on my mate’s father, but here I am.
I’m standing a few paces in front of Alpha Alfred, Ron’s dad. There are wolves and she-wolves everywhere around us now, and we are about to fight in front of his Alpha mansion. The crowd of onlookers surrounding us have formed a massive circle all round, leaving the two of us together inside the circle.
I look to my left side and see my amazing mate. He’s looking at me, and standing beside Toby and Alexa, who are holding each other.
