Bonfires have been a werewolf tradition since time immemorial. The pile of firewood stacked up together signifies the strong bonds that tie each wolf into the family of our pack.
We light bonfires at every occasion, to remind ourselves of the most important thing in our lives... The thing that we live for. The thing from which we draw strength and power, and our whole sustainance.
The thing we fight for, and the thing we would give our life for. Our pack.
That right there is why a pack of wolves is the most formidable force known, to me at least. And bonfires are how my father taught me to always remind myself of my priorities in life.
