Ron’s POV
Well, I hate to tell people I told them so, but I kinda did. I had this feeling all along that going there to see that Oracle was going to end up being a bust and a total waste of time, and that old woman today just proved me right.
Turns out she was just some lunatic who can’t even form a coherent sentence to explain herself. But, I have to admit, I don’t necessarily feel too good about having been right about the Oracle. Mostly because there is really nothing to celebrate here.
We still have absolutely no idea where the Tribrid monster lives, and so we have absolutely no advantage over him. He and his monsters could attack our new packhouse at any time, and we would be sitting ducks, just like last time.
