Maia’s POV
It’s a chill evening and we are all inside a thick forest. My friends and I have just arrived here to search for the homestead of that Tribrid monster that we suspect is somewhere in these woods.
We came just the four of us, my mate Ron and our betas, Toby and Alexa. We could have brought a lot more wolves to come help with the search but we realized it would be too risky. This mission requires us to be literally invisible, and to move as quietly as possible so as not to be discovered out here, and so having a huge search party wouldn’t really have worked.
Right now, we have just arrived here and we are standing together under the tall trees of this vast forest. The huge Locksbridge River is flowing right beside where we are standing, and I can see its violent waters smashing
