Maia's POV
My hands are both clawed, and I'm stepping very slowly across the hallway of the mansion we just entered. Ron and Toby are right behind me, and I'm sniffing up the air in order to lock a direction on Alexa's scent.
I see a door in front of us and realize it's slightly opened. I peek through the slight opening and see about five hybrids seated together in a living room. There is loud music playing inside, and they all seem busy chatting and drinking.
I turn around and place my clawed index finger on my mouth, indicating to Ron and Toby to remain quiet so that we don't get made. The two of them nod and we continue our way forward along the hall.
