Chapter 1

Bela whispered: Rain !!!! Rain is always close to my heart.

She inhaled the fresh air.

Bela whispers: Soil smell. Wow Dean loves it alot. (She sat near the pool by dipping her legs in that).

Bela pov: This smell is killing me Dean, I wish for your presence here. Hm I know it’s not possible but still….

Maria (Dean's mom): Bela what are u doing here??? O Jesus!!! (After seeing rain) Bela please come inside otherwise you may get cold.

Maria made her sit on a chair and rubbed her wet hair with a towel.

John (Dean's elder brother): Bela are you ready for your interview the reporters are waiting outside.

Bela: Yes brother i will be there in 2 min. Guys i will manage so can you please excuse me.

Maria: Ok Bela wear that blue suit it looks good on you.

Bela: Yes mom its Dean's favourite colour.  

After dressing Bela reached the garden area,

Reporter: Congratulations mam for winning Most courageous women award of 2019.

Bela: Thank you guys it is my duty to serve you all and my nation.

Reporter: Man u are too young and we are eager to know, how you are dealing with all these criminals, doing a lot of stunts daily???

Bela: Guys I am 26-year-old and all IPS officers should do all this thing then only criminals will be scared.

Reporter: How are you maintaining your family and work life together??

Bela: My family is my backbone without them i can't achieve all this name and success.

Reporter: Mam actually we all want to know about your epic love story. If you are free to open then plz do the honour.

Bela: Love!!!! Yes I love Dean Malhotra???? HE HE …. Guys it was an arranged marriage but i should say he is the person who taught me how to smile.

Reporter: We heard that you are pregnant???

Bela: Yes i am 7 months pregnant and will be on leave from now.

Reporter: Mam how did u do that much risky mission in this condition???

Bela: Because of Passion and trust in myself. How could I stay at home when all those innocent girls were getting r***d??? I want to do my duty till my last breath.

Reporter: We are so proud of you mam. How is Dean sir now???

Bela: He is …(she was struggling for words. We can see that her hands were shivering)

Isa (John's wife): Guys am sorry to interrupt, but Bela needs rest.

Reporter: Ok mam thank you so much for giving us this awesome interview.

Bela smiled weakly. (she is in a verge of crying)

Isa: Bela are u ok???

Bela nodes yes and smiled.

She left to her room.

Bela pov: God did you know I am 7 months pregnant can’t you see all are happy here but what about me???

She took her marriage picture and started sobbing.

Bela: I love you Dean still I have hope that you will return back to me. Our love is not that week.

Flashback

Bela: How could you mess with me???? (we can see Bela in police uniform and beating a criminal in the cell with her belt)

Cabir: Madam plz stop it otherwise he will die now.

Bela: Cabir i don't like anyone interfering while am doing my duty especially my subordinates. Then about this criminal, doesn't he deserve this? 

Cabir: Yes madam but plz be a little careful.

Bela ignored him and continued beating him until her phone rang.

Rose (Bela's mom): Bela I want to talk to you.

Bela: Plz mom why can’t you understand? I don't want to talk to you. So for God’s sake don’t disturb me.

Rose: Ok fine but your Grandfather wants to talk to you. So can you do that favour?

Bela: Grandfather??? Yes fine can you give him the phone?

Grandfather on call: Bela baby why are u not talking to your mom???

Bela: Plz don’t start again am not interested.

Grandfather: Hm okay now let me ask you one thing.

Bela: What??

Grandfather: Bela I want to see you for the last time.

Bela: huff Grandfather again another drama i can't come now And you will live long so don't always use last time always.

Grandfather started coughing badly.

Rose: Bela Grandfather is not well. His asthma problem has increased and now he stopped taking medicines on time too.

Bela: O god why are you behaving like a baby, Grandfather? Okay fine i will be there by evening.

At Grandfather's home:

Grandfather: Rose!!!! Bela is on the way. Our plan worked.

Rose: Dad God knows how she will react after knowing the truth.

Grandfather: I will take care of that you just receive her with a smile.

Rose: As you say Dad.

After some time,

Bela: Grandfather am here.

Grandfather: I know that my baby will be here before evening. Bela aren't you hungry? Don’t you want to eat anything???

Bela: Ya but first you tell me, how are you now Grandpa??? Why aren’t you not taking your medicines on time??

Grandfather: Am fine dear. Rose brings the snacks.

Grandpa feeds her snacks.

He also had 2, 3 in-between.

Bela: Grandpa you are not allowed to eat this oily food.

Grandpa: Kiddo am fine.

Bela: No means no. Hm my tummy is full

She went to her room and cleaned herself.

Bela: Grandpa now can I leave?

Grandpa: No no. Rose can you tell her why we called her here.

Rose: Ok Dad. Bela met my friend Maria Malhotra and her family will be here now.

Bela: So what should I do?

Grandpa: Kiddo they are coming here to meet you.

Bela: Grandpa is leaving and one more thing I don’t care about Malhotar’s.

Bela turned to leave but 5 people were standing on the door way.

Rose:  Maria you are here. Plz come in.

They all entered the house with a warm smile.

Maria is looking at Bela: Hello Bela am Maria Malhotra, this is my husband Sam, John, my elder son, his wife Isa and my younger son Dean.

Dean smiles at Bela.

Bela: Nice meeting you all. Hope you all will be comfortable if I leave.

Rose: Bela no you can’t just leave.

Bela: Why mom? These are your friends right?

Grandfather: Bela the thing is that we all liked Dean and he is perfect for you.

Bela: (Angrily) Grandfather, I don't want to marry anyone, did u get that???

Grandpa: Yes but….

Before he completes she heard her neighbour lady shouting her name.

Bela rushed there and started punching her neighbour lady’s husband. He used to beat his wife whenever he was in a drunken stage. He was only scared of Bela.

Rose is too scared of Bela as she is not talking to her. According to Bela, she thought her dad left her because of mom's bad behaviour.

Bela beat him until he apologized to his wife.

Grandfather: God now she will erupt over everyone like a volcano.

Rose: Sorry Maria, Bela is like a volcano. I think u all should leave otherwise she will eat you all now.

John: Aunty don’t worry our Dean will talk to her and he is best in dealing with devils.

Dean punched John on the stomach and all burst out in laughter.

In Bela's room:

Bela is punching in the air to reduce her frustration. She is dam angry with all for fooling her.

When she saw Dean, Bela left it and sat on the bed.

Dean too sat near her.

Bela: What u want now??? Hey Mr am not interested in u so you can leave.

He smiled at her.

Bela: Why are you smiling??? Are u dump???

Dean again smiled.

Bela: i***t man can’t you understand I don't want to marry you.

Dean forwarded her a paper.

Hi Bela,

My name is Dean Malhotra . Sorry Miss IPS officer i cannot reply to you as am mute (Bela looked at him in shock). 

I know u will be thinking then why am here to marry u??? Sorry it was your Grandfather who wanted to introduce me to you so I just came here. Bela u are too strong and powerful but your anger (Bela again looked at him).

Trust me your nose is like an apple at that time.

Bela: what??? Dean are you teasing me??

Dean signed: No no

Bela looked at him confused

Dean took pen and paper and started writing

Dean: Sorry all my friends and family know my gestures.

Bela: It's fine.

Dean: Bela u are looking good when you smile.

Bela: Ohooo so are you trying to flirt with me???

Dean writes: No mam how can i flirt with an IPS officer???

Bela: Ok so what are u doing??

Dean writes: Ok so u want to know about me??? Mm that seems interesting...he he.   I completed my MBA and started a start-up named "Ashayan Industries". Luckily now it’s one among the top 10 companies in India.

Bela: OO god you were that Dean. s**t I only inaugurated your Mumbai branch.

Dean writes: Yes mam

Bela: Ok good.

Dean writes: Tell me about yourself.

Bela: Me??? What to say?? Am an IPS officer who will lose her control for small small things. Am an angry young woman whose main hobby is to fight with all the rascals around me.

Dean started laughing

Bela: Seriously are you laughing on me??? Here all are scared of me, even Grandfather but you (angrily).

Dean writes: Am not scared of you because you are looking cute in that angry mode.

Bela blushed

Two days Manan talked to each other.

Bela started understanding his gestures. She started mingling to his family in a normal way.

Grandfather: Princess am so glad to see u smiling again.

Rose: Bela u are looking good while smiling.

Bela angrily: Oh Rose mama u are the only reason for my volcanic nature. I started hating marriage because of you. How could u divorce my dad and force him to stay away from me?

Bela left the room by breaking a flower vase. 

Dean was watching all this.

First he made Rose calm down and went to Bela's room.

Bela: Why are you here??? Plz don't irritate me.

Dean writes: Hello mam i thought u are good but Bela u are heartless who cannot understand the feelings of another woman. Did you want to know about your Dad???? Then listen he was a flirt who used your mom. He betrayed her and left when she was carrying u. Have you ever thought about why your Grandfather is supporting your mom, not dad??? He is not your mom's father did u get that?? Grandfather is always supporting the right. That's why he is with your mom, not with that jerk man. He has a total of 3 wife’s. Now tell me what's your mom's fault??? She had given you everything and Bela you should be ashamed of yourself for always humiliating her.

Bela started crying

Dean: Bela it’s okay go and talk to your mom.

Days passed Dean had made Bela a good soul. Now she knows how to control her anger issues.

Bela pov: Bela look at u Dean had made us human from that monster look. Now you got back your mom all are happy and it’s a perfect family now. Hm tomorrow he is leaving back to Mumbai. Will I miss him??? I am feeling as if he has stolen my heart. What to do??? Without him i will be like a car without petrol. Dean now u are the only reason for my smile. You made me cry, understand others' emotions and value them. I want to be your voice forever. Will he accept me??? O god how will i tell him this??? i***t you're in love with him.

Dean was watching her from the doorway smiling.
