Herman was opening a new branch for KTF company,last year treated him well he was very successful but Mary was no where to be found like she never exist.

while everyone was enjoying themselves and congratulations Herman his mind didn't stop to remember his past

herman" someday when i becomes successful we will get married" he sound so sincerely

Mary reply" I can't wait for that day to happen love" hug him then kiss him

that seems to ruin his mood until someone hug him from behind .he smiled and turn around to hold her closer inhale her cologne and say" i love this cologne smells so nice,what is it called?"

Lisa answer" it's called jasmine"

"Baby what do think about this one, does it smell nice? i really love it"

he smelled it and answer" yeah its fine" Mary was a little hurt she expects him to share the same excitement.

"Babe what are you thinking"Lisa ask

" it's nothing honey"kiss her

they had a great night after the party Herman dropped of Lisa to her house and kiss her, before he could leave she asked"ain't you staying tonight?"

" am not staying honey,but we are going out tomorrow and its a surprise where am taking you" he kiss her and left.

Mary walked in with excitements and say" Babe do you know what today's is?" with excitements expression looking at Herman.

Herman answer" no,what is today?, it's not your birthday though"

with disappointments she say" its a movie night,i got all our favorite snacks"

he walk away from his computer and hug her and say" am sorry,i completely forget about it,am all yours now"

she smiled take the popcorn and other snack and sit on the couch herman choose the movie the start enjoying it in the middle of the movie herman phone ring" sorry , i have to pick it up" he walk away after he was done talking to the phone he went back and kiss mary and say" am sorry,i have business to take care of" Mary node and continue to watch a movie.

herman arrived home and call Lisa to inform her that he was home but they end up talking for hours until he fall a sleep

The room was so dark and a woman in white walked in and tap a man who fall a sleep on a couch,he open his eyes and try to focus to recognize the person that wake him up and say "Mary,what are doing here?"

" I come to check on you,you always seems to forget things.By the way congratulations on your success am so happy for you"

"so you came back after my achievements?"furiously

" i haven't come back,you seems to not understand why i left"

" then you can tell me"

" i have always,told you from what i like,hate,gifts, outings,how i needed to be treated can't you just do something at least i can feel special than feel like am forcing you" and walk away

" Mary don't leave me, please stay" Mary didn't listen.

Herman wake up sweating ,he drink some water and try to go back to sleep but all the efforts were in vein.he took he laptop out and start working until the sun rise,he prepare himself and went to work his whole day was ruin but didn't forget to plan the dinner date he promised Lisa.

Mary prepare herself and call uber to pick her up she was so happy that she was going out with her boyfriend for their anniversary.when she arrived at the sun set restaurant she walked in excitedly and look around to find an empty table and text Herman

"i have arrived already,are you done with your meetings"

the waitress come there and say" would you like to order "

" only water am waiting for someone"

three hours went by Mary tries to call him but there where no answer from Herman,she stayed untill it was time for restaurant to close she took a take away and took a tax to herman house,on her way there she tried to stay positive and focus.she reach at his apartment and knock the door but no one answer,she called Herman but he didn't pick up,she notice he was inside since the ring was from the house.

she remembers that she has a spare key and open the door the house was so quite she walk towards Herman room and found him a sleep.she was so disappointment and remember what she told him

" Babe I'll take you out for dinner tomorrow,i promise won't forget our anniversary this year."

she said" it's not necessary"

" no honey we have to do this, it's our special day,will have to go and have fun.you know i love spending time with you"

with a the memory mary couldn't hold her tease she decide to leave without a word on her way home,she cried alot

" why did you have to give me hope and shut it like it was nothing,your so mean" she cried so much,she felt like she couldn't stop everytime she felt unwanted to him his words and actions were opposite that's hurt her so much.she collect herself and went home after she arrived home she hard some wine until she fall a sleep.the next morning she was waken up by a phone call,she pick up without looking who was calling

" aaaagh its so early,who is it"

" Babe,your still a sleep?"

"yeah i am"

"okay, thanks for the food, sleep tight am on my way to work"

Mary hang up and throw the phone away " i hate you" she get out of the bed get ready and left for work" one day ,i will be happy again say to herself"

Herman was prepare himself to leave when Dora his assistant walked in

" Mr Muhammed, called said he just arrived and he would like to see you today"

" i know but i promise Lisa a date, I can't cancel it.other things can wait"

"okay and Miss Mary is outside" his heart stop for a second and he becomes very nervous.
