Scarlett’s POV Just as I pushed the door open to the study, I noticed something on the floor by the doorframe. A small envelope. No stamp. No markings. Just one word written in handwriting I didn’t recognize: “Scarlett.” I picked it up with trembling fingers. The Letter, The Warning, The Shadow I stared at the envelope for what felt like hours.
