Song Recommendation: cbakl - I promised myself I wouldn't cry in the club rn
three.
Eryn.
The instant I asked Marina to spend the night with me I felt like I went a little too far. She was inexperienced and if I pushed her too hard she might go running in the other direction. I didn't want to scare her off.
For a moment, I was getting ready for her to reject me. I knew I came off too strong but I wanted to get to the point if I was going to shag this woman.
"Yes," she declared, throwing me completely off my game. I didn't expect her to agree so easily.
"What?"
"Yes," she repeated, "I'll spend the night with you."
"What about your friends?" At this point, I felt like I was making more excuses for myself than her.
"I'm an adult, they know that," she waved off, "do you live nearby?"
I was utterly dumbfounded. I didn't think Marina had the guts to even say something. I really wasn't expecting her to comply so easily. Was it because I kissed her? "Are you sure that Flynn guy wouldn't be upset? He acted like your boyfriend." Shut up, Eryn! You're ruining this for yourself.
It was Marina's turn to chuckle. "No, he's just overprotective of me."
"I live across the street," I remarked, getting up quickly.
Marina stood up and leaned on me heavily, probably feeling the effects of the cocktail. She looked up at me. "Whoa, you're super tall."
I laughed shaking my head. "Perhaps you've had too much to drink. It would be unfair to take advantage of you like this."
"You sound like you're trying to get out of this, Eryn," Marina went up on her tiptoes and planted her lips on a sliver of skin that showed on my collarbone. She kissed the spot of a tattoo that faded over the years, one that I covered up the mark I hated. Her scent wafted towards me and I knew I couldn't chicken out of this. This was exactly what I sought.
"Should we tell your friends before we go?" As much as I wanted to do all the dirty things to could think of to her, we needed to tell her friends.
It was something that kept me in control. If they knew about me, I knew I had to return her.
Temptation could be deadly.
Mari nodded, clutching my hand and pulling me along with her. Oh, how the tables have turned. She had more dominant energy when she was under the influence. It was strangely hot. I couldn't wait to see more of it.
We found her friends by the edge of the dancefloor seeming like they were having a good time. Except for Flynn of course. I felt as if he was the sour puss of the group. I've been around too long to not notice when someone has a crush on someone. Flynn was unquestionably crushing on Marina. Too bad I was going to have her under me tonight.
Yeah too bad for him, I thought. I stifled a smirk that was trying to crawl its way to my face.
Mari tapped Sydney. "Hey, me and Eryn are going to head out. I'll talk a cab--"
"No, I'll drive you back to wherever you're staying in the morning," I interjected. It was the least I could do. I loved morning f***s.
"In the morning?" Ally raised a curious brow.
I smirked and winked at her. "Yes, in the morning. Don't worry, she'll be safe with me."
Sydney glanced over at our interlocked hands and nodded. "Be careful, Mari."
"You don't even know her," Flynn snapped.
"She'll get to know more of me as the night progresses. Ready to go, Princess?" I turned to Marina.
Her cheeks were red, and I was beginning to realize that would be a natural occurrence. Humans were so easily embarrassed. I haven't been with a human in a long time. I knew I was taking a chance here when it came to my self-control and the need to feed, but I felt like I could easily control myself with one human.
I lead Marina out of the club and looked at the street before we crossed. I could hear her heartbeat picking up, probably fully realizing the choice she'd made. She decided to spend the night with a complete stranger. If I was human, I would be a nervous mess by now.
We silently walked through the doorway to my loft. It used to be an abandoned warehouse and back when there was no solution to the whole sunlight problem, it was the perfect place to hide out in. The basement had no windows and it was an ideal place to keep a casket.
Not that I slept in one. That would be cliche, right?
I lead Marina towards an elevator and onto the fourth floor.
"Whoa," she murmured, looking at the view the hallway window offered.
"Wait until you see the view from inside," I replied, opening the door.
Marina walked inside and her mouth opened in awe. "This place... holy shit." She began to walk around the pillars that held up the room. My bed was in the middle of the room on a wooden platform with four wooden pillars surrounding it. It was the first thing she walked towards. She backed up from it when she realized that I was staring at her.
I walked over to the fireplace, sifting through the firewood to make the place warmer. During the winter, it would always get cold up here. I never was one for radiators or heaters. A fireplace gave the warmth that nothing artificial could ever.
"I've never seen a room like this," Mari said in wonderment. She looked towards the end of the room that lead into a kitchen, "it's like a giant room with everything in it."
I laughed, nodding as she spoke. "Yes, that's exactly what it is. The bathroom is this door if you need it." I walked over to a door beside the exit. I took off my jacket and hung it on the coat stand by the door.
Marina walked back to me and I caught her gaze on my chest. I looked down and saw more of my tattoos were sticking out from underneath my button-up. She approached me hesitantly, unbuttoning the first two buttons. She stared at the tattoo above my collarbone. It was one of the first ones I'd gotten after I turned. I realized that I couldn't get regular tattoos and so werewolf venom had to be mixed with the ink. Over the years tattoos became easier compared to the way they were a couple of hundred years ago. They were more unconventional years ago and that's why I was tattooed from the neck down to my ankles.
"Every single one of them means something to me," I explained.
Marina's fingers traced along the lines of the faded broken clock that was inked on me. "What does this one mean?"
"Time is meaningless to me," I whispered, a tremor rolling through me as her finger traced the ink until it disappeared under my shirt.
I gradually unbuttoned my shirt, giving her more access to the rest of the images on my body. Her eyes raked them all in, her gaze darting from one to the other. She found words written on my ribs and it took all of me not to shudder again at her touch. "You have scars under most of these."
I looked down at her, a pained expression on my face. I didn't want to get into this. I didn't even know why I was letting her touch me like this. I swiftly rebuttoned up my shirt and stepped past her. "Would you like something to drink?" I needed some space. I don't know why Marina has such an effect on me, I thought.
"Water please," she asked, walking over to the couch that was against the wall across from the fireplace.
I headed over to the kitchen and grabbed a glass, filling it with tap water. I opened the fridge and stared at the various blood bags lining my fridge. It was animal blood that a friend of mine supplied me with. I didn't trust myself with blood from the source anymore.
I took one and poured it into a mug and then placed it in the microwave. Warm blood was the closest I could get to an actual human. Animal blood didn't taste the best, but it did the job at least.
I strolled over and gave her the glass. She downed the glass within seconds. I raised a brow in surprise. "Thirsty?"
Marina blushed and gazed off at the view of the city. "Whoa, is that the Space Needle?"
I followed her line sight and nodded. "Yes, living in Queen Anne does have its perks, I suppose."
"I haven't seen it up close yet. I've been dying to see it," Marina commented.
I sat next to her staring off into the view. "Yeah, it really is a beautiful sight. If you're visiting, it's something you have to see." I took a sip of my mug, raising my lip in slight disgust.
"What are you drinking?"
"Some smoothie drink. It's for my health," I quickly said, all too familiar with the questions humans asked. I was already well versed in all my excuses to mask what I really was.
"Oh, are you okay?" Mari asked, looking over my body quickly before pulling her gaze away.
I snorted, shaking my head slowly. "Yes. You're cute, you know that?" I set the mug down on the coffee table and bent towards her.
Marina's eyes went down to my lips and closed the space between us, locking our lips.
I opened my mouth, drawing her bottom lip into my mouth. Her hands were immediately in my hair, yanking on it gently. I groaned inwardly, wondering what were the chances she liked it rough.
As our kisses became more intense, my hands traveled down to my shirt, shrugging it off.
Marina's dress consisted of a zipper in the front and it took all of me not to unzip it myself. I didn't want to go too fast for her.
However, at the rate she was going with my hair, I would have that dress off in no time.
"Wait," she moaned as I planted kisses down her neck. Her heartbeat was beating erratically, teasing me. Coaxing me into a dark path.
I pulled away slightly, looking at her for a moment. "Yeah?"
"I can't have s*x with you," she stammered, staring at the ground.
I lifted a brow. "Am I making you uncomfortable?"
"No! It's not that."
I sat up straight. "Then what?"
Marina seemed as if she was going to say something, but instead, she blurted, "this is my first time being with a girl."
I half-smiled dryly. "If that makes you uncomfortable, I understand. Straight girls trying to explore--"
"No, that's not what I'm saying," Marina shook her head and seized my hand. She guided it to her zipper, "I don't know what to do to please you."
"Princess, don't you worry about pleasing me. I can make this night all about you," I pulled the zipper down slowly, watching at the dress came undone along with the bra that was built-in with it.
Her voluptuous breasts spilled out and I grabbed one, taking a pink pert n****e into my mouth. I circled my tongue around it and sucked, the sensation causing her to moan softly. I rolled the other n****e between my fingertips and she yanked on my hair roughly, causing my neck to snap back slightly.
I growled, bringing my lips close to her ear. "If you keep doing that, I won't be able to go slow."
"I didn't ask you to take it slow," she said breathily.
Fuck.
