  I looked at Elissa as I heard the sound of a knock on the door. Groaning, I rubbed my eyes and sat up. "Who could that be?" I wondered to myself.   As I made my way to the door, I heard a voice call out, "Alpha Eden, your presence is needed immediately, please." It was my bata. His urgent tone made me think that something important must have come up.   I hurried to the bathroom, splashing water on my face and brushing my teeth to freshen up. Once I felt presentable, I quickly came out and put on my clothes—a white blouse and black trousers—and headed out the door.   As I walked down the hallway, I bumped into my gamma.
