Ellissa's POV
"Ellissa, it's Eden. Are you okay?" I heard Eden call out softly, his voice filled with genuine concern.
There was no response from me; in my subconsciousness, I could hear him, but I couldn't say a thing, like I was hypnotized or something, and I was sure no response from me made Eden worry even more.
I heard the door being pushed open and the sounds of footsteps inside my room. I guess his worry deepened as he saw me laying on my bed, trembling with fear. My eyes were closed, red, and puffy from crying. I was fighting with myself, but yet nothing worked.
