Chapter two Sebastian I increased the pain by digging my finger deeply into her skin” Tell mum and dad that you are no longer interested in schooling outside and I’ll allow you to have a boyfriend and spend time with your friends.” I said to her sternly. “She looked at me with surprise. ' Are you serious or is this part of your plan to trick me into going to the school abroad, I will not agree to it,” she said stubbornly. “ I’m serious and I give you my word, I said with all seriousness,” also, I will stay out of your way throughout your years in school but you will have to cancel your admission and school in this country but if you defile me and go out, I’ll have no choice but to haunt you there and make your life miserable with no friends or companion,” I whispered eerily in her ear while grabbing her hair.” She felt a shiver down her spine and she was deep in thought. After some seconds, her furrowed brows were straightened back and she looked at me smiling softly, and said “ I agree to this arrangement and I trust you to keep your promise right?” “I will.” “Pinky promise then, she smiled happily while bringing out her soft manicured hand for a promise. “Who still does pinky promise,? I chuckled in my mind. I can do pinky promise and also fail to keep it. Anyways I did it with her and we settled the case. I heaved a sigh of relief in my heart for being able to stop her from leaving the country. We were done just in time to hear our parents' voices from the living room They turned to see us climbing down the stairs. “When did you come back Sebastian and young lady, why did you take hours to get the water leaving us to pack your bags for you??” Mum asked with her eyes on Jasmine. “Mum and dad, please sit, jas has an announcement to make, I said pulling them to the chair. “Dad, mum, Jasmine started” I’ve decided to cancel my admission and school in this country,” she finished closing her eyes and waiting for a shout from mum and an angry face from dad only to be covered in a warm hug from mum. “Thank you jasmine for choosing to go to school here, your father and I were really scared about you going to school outside with no one by your side. Thank you baby for staying, mum said while wiping tears from her eyes.. Dad hugged her too and said, thank you Jasmine for agreeing to stay and I’m glad I’ve told my friend not to cancel your admission but wait a little. Jasmine looked up from the hug and said “Thank you dad” he replied by rubbing her hair lovingly. Mum came to me and hugged me too,” Thank you seb for convincing her, this means a lot to me.” “ mum it’s nothing and I’m glad to help,” I said returning the hug. Dad and Jasmine joined us for a family hug
