I hear beeping and people talking but I can’t make out what they are saying, it’s like I’m under water. That smell, its strawberries and chocolate, which my RoseBud used to smell like. I’m walking around the woods looking for someone anyone Matthew RoseBud mum dad is anyone there? Where is everyone? Does no one want to find me? I have been out here for days, please someone anyone help me please help me. I start to panic I can hear wolfs coming what if there rogues, I need to hide I can’t find anywhere to hid. No, they are going to get me they are going to kill me.

I open my eyes and it’s dark there’s a little light coming from a lamp in the corner of the room. I try and sit up, but it hurts, I growl out load then I hear a small voice asking if I’m alright, I turn around and see a lady sitting next to me in a chair. She reaches out to hold my hand, I pull it back before she can touch me, I go to open my mouth to tell her I’m ok but nothing comes out, so I just point to my mouth. She jumps up and leaves well I wasn’t expecting that, then there is a knock at the door as I look up a doctor comes in with the same lady behind her. The doctor gives me a glass of water and I drink it all aww that feels better.

He’s had many blood transfusions since being here with him bleeding so much, his wolf has stopped the bleeding so his smell should go back to normal in a couple days.

I had a mate she rejected me so how can you be my mate? If you reject your mate, you do not get another but if you’re the one that has been rejected then the Moon Goddess gives you a second chance. This seems to cheer her up a little bit then I remember she said she knew me but how? I don’t know who she is. How do you know me? I don’t know who you are. She started to cry and told me she would be back the nurse checks me over and says my skin is starting to go back to normal colour. Hopefully in a week or 2 with good diet you should be free to leave, as the nurse leaves a man comes in and he don’t look much older than me. He smiles and calls me cousin asking how I am. Sorry, do I know you? He’s shocked that I don’t know who he is. All this talking is giving me a headache. How am I meant to know people I have never seen before?

Yes, I don’t remember much from before I was here, but I remember their names and that my dad was a Beta, and my mum was an Alpha. We lived in Orange Moon till the uprising that killed them, they told me to run to find someone but can’t remember who I was meant to find. I just ran and ran till Alpha Jacob found me and I have lived in hell ever since, I think they will be proud of me you know that I haven’t let them break me no matter what they have done. When I finish school, I want to see if I can find anyone from Orange Moon and try and get the pack back together with me as Alpha. If not then I will go to Purple Moon and see if they will have me, I think they were my mum’s friends, but I don’t remember.

I look up Alpha Ryan and Rose are standing there crying. What’s got into them? Matthew, you have been quiet, what the hell is going on? I have been talking with their wolves and they say they are family. I think we should get to know them and trust them it will be good for use. Are you sure Matthew? Yes Theodore, I’m the smart one remember! I can’t help but smile he’s going to be a pain in my ass. Alright then guys my wolf says to get to know you so how about some one grab food and you can fill me in on what you know that I don’t. Sound good? O and can you get the nurse? I’m starting to hurt.

Penny comes in with food about an hour later, the pain meds have kicked in, I’m no longer in pain you can see that my skin is starting to show though. I can’t wait till I can see my birthmark again, it’s really cool it’s the shape of the Moon but one half is Orange and the other half is Purple. Penny puts my plate of food in front of me and I smile at her thank you penny, how have you been? Is everything alright at the house without me? I’m fine thank you Theodore I’m just glad I’m able to give you real food now without the worry of dying myself. I bet it’s nice for you not having to feed everyone and being able to eat yourself, I have done steak mash and all the trimming for you. You need your strength to recover and then leave, I know what you’re going to say and please don’t. Take care of yourself please leave my child when you can promise me Theodore.

Smiling at Penny yes, I will recover, yes I will leave but I will be taking you and Mary with me, how do you expect me to leave you both behind? If it was not for you both I would have died long before know. You can come to my pack if you like Penny? That Mary can come as well if you like? You will be coming to my pack won’t you Theodore? Looking over at Ryan and Rose, she’s looking at me with so much hope in her eye’s, they have been good to me since I woke up and they are the reason I’m alive really if they had not turned up I would have dead out there. Rose is my mate apparently and you go and live with your mate once you find them, I look at Rose again the hope in her eyes have gone she looks deflated. I want her to be happy so I smile, yes Alpha Ryan if you will have me then I will come to your pack with Penny and Mary. Thank you this means a lot to me, I know Mary is going to be so happy once I tell her we are leaving together. Theodore who is Mary? When you first woke up you said RoseBud is that your girlfriend? Is Mary your RoseBud?

Rose is crying she looks so heat broken, Mary is 28 and unmated she is the dinner lady at my school since I started there, she has looked after me the best she can as she herself is an omega. So, when I was beaten up, she was thereafter to help clean me up she would feed me at school I was only meant to have a sandwich, Mary would always give me full meals and would let me take the sandwich home as I was not fed at the pack house. Mary helps me with my homework during my free period if it was not for her, I would be failing all my classes. Rose, Mary is not my girlfriend, I have never had one.

After eating the food Ryan leaves as it’s getting late, I look over at Rose she is settling down on the sofa. Are you not going to go Rose? It can’t be comfortable on that sofa. She looks at me, can I stay please? I don’t want anything to happen to you and you are my mate. I feel this need to comfort her, come here Rose that sofa is not comfortable. There is enough room here on the bed with me, her face lights up her eyes are so bright, I have never seen anyone with as big a smile as she has right know. Carefully laying down on the bed with me I hold my hand out to her she takes it I feel the sparks shoot through me like an electric shock I let go. That didn’t happen when my first mate touched me, I didn’t feel anything when she touched me, I hold my hand out again the same thing happens. Wow this is amazing come here Rose cuddle me and we will sleep, I can’t get over how wonderful it feels to have her in my arms and fall into the best sleep I have had since I was 5 years old.
