Rose is pregnant now we are going to have a baby in 8 months she tells me my head is all over the place I don’t know what to think I don’t know what to feel. I didn’t expect her to say she is 4 weeks pregnant that means she got pregnant the night we got engaged the Moon Goddess and my parents gave use more than just there blessing on are marriage but gave use a baby. How am I meant to be a dad? I only had a dad for 5 years I don’t know how to be one what on earth am I going to do?

Calling a family meeting to tell them the good news I heard down to the kitchen to cook some food for everyone. Hello Gladys, she’s the head of kitchen. Hello Theodore, can I help you with anything? No thank you I’m just going to cook food for the family they are all coming over. Would you like some help? Thank you but its fine take the evening off I got this. Thank you Theodore that very kind of you. Your welcome Gladys you work really hard here it’s only fair you get an evening with your family as well have a good night. Gladys has a massive smile on her face as she leaves thanking me again. Looking in the fridge I settle on mushroom soup, lasagne with homemade chips onion rings and garlic bread. Apple crumble with fresh home-made custard should be a good meal.

Setting the food on the table as everyone starts coming in wow what’s that smell Theodore have you been cooking again? Yes, grandmother I hope you like it slowly walking over she gives me a big hug and a kiss on the cheek. Right let’s all sit down and eat before the food goes cold as always everyone loved my food and there was nothing left by the time we had all finished.

Standing up everyone looks at me well thank you all for coming as you know there is something Rose and I want to tell you. Smiling over at Rose I couldn’t help the tears that come to my eye’s looking back at my family Rose is pregnant this happened on the night of my welcome home party and are engagement. Everyone looks shock then grandmother breaks the silence, Congratulations my child I can’t wait for another grandbaby. Grandmother walks over to Rose and gives her a big hug placing her hand on Rose’s tummy, have you had your first check yet? No, I missed my period last week and done a home test this morning, why do you fell something is wrong? No dear child not wrong just not 1. Rose hand goes flying to her mouth, I am confused what does that mean not 1? Of course, there is one else there wouldn’t be any would there?

At the doctors the next day seems the whole family have come with use, this room doesn’t seem big enough for use all, but no one will leave. The doctor comes in she had taken blood from Rose beforehand well I have looked over the test I can confirm you are pregnant Rose around 4 weeks if I’m right. So here are vitamins you need to start taking one in the morning and one in the evening to be taken with food. Only light exercise so no more pack training, I thought Rose would blow up about this, but she didn’t she just sat there smiling and nodding her head I’m so proud of her she’s taking this so well. Theodore here is a list of foods and drink’s Rose can and cannot have also food that she needs to eat at every meal. All the information is on these leaflets there are plenty of baby books in the library if you need to read up on anything. Anything you’re unsure about just give me a ring day or night any problems you think you might have with the baby again call me day or night. This is going to be one special baby.

Over the next 2 months I make all of Rose’s food making sure to stick to everything on the list the doctor gave me. I have read every book I could find in the library about pregnancy and baby’s my training has increased as I want to be able to protect Rose and are baby at all costs. My family remind me they are here and will protect them with their lives as well but I lost my family before I won’t let that happen again.

Today is the day we get to see the baby and the whole family are coming along with use Rose is laying on the bed we are all around her excited to see the baby. The doctor comes in with a machine I’m squeezing Rose’s hand she pats mine to let me know I’m squeezing too hard. The doctor puts cold jelly on Rose’s tummy then a wand looking thing and the machine comes to life, there’s what looks like static. The picture becomes clearer we all gasp as one, the doctor points to the machine there is the baby all looks good I’m just going to take the measurements of the body, legs head and heart. Now over to baby number 2 and I will do the same with this one, ummm what did you just say doctor 2 babies? Yes, I said number 2 but in fact there are 3 babies inside Rose. 3 babies? You said 3 babies? Rose what are we going to do with 3 babies? When we talked you said 1 baby not 3 babies? Calm down Theodore my grandmother says smiling at me as if this is funny.

The doctor did all her tests Rose and the babies are perfect the babies are a little bit bigger than they are meant to be but that’s fine nothing to worry about.
