Cain himself was shocked, he thought it was some sort of prank. He waited for his grandfather to correct his mistakes thinking that his being old was affecting his memories but his grandfather didn’t show any signs of forgetfulness, instead, he looked straight at Cain as he spoke.
“Grandfather, don’t you mean Maisie? I mean, she got us the collaboration,” Sarah asked as she looked bewildered. Grandfather Williams shook his head with a stern face.
“No, I meant what I said. Cain is now the chairman,” he repeated, the room was quiet.
“This is not fair, Maisie is the rightful owner of the ivory group, and somehow, you managed to steal it from her, and now, you’re denying her of it too?!” Aidan said as he stood up in annoyance.
That was the first time Shanice and Walter agreed with Aidan.
