Sarah watched Aidan leave in a very awkward position, she hid herself behind the door so that she wouldn't be noticed by him. She even pressed her tummy in and held her breath until he walked away slowly.
When he was gone, she noisily exhaled, breathing as if she had almost drowned, she quickly knocked on the door.
“Go away Aidan” she heard Maisie call out from behind the door. She looked to the direction Aidan used and sighed in relief to see that he was gone.
“It's not Aidan, it's me, let me in please” she called out, she waited patiently for Maisie to get up and unlock the door.
When she heard the door click, she turned the handle and got in, locking the door behind her.
“Maisie dear,” she said when she saw how badly her sister was doing, but that was not what she came to do.
