Aidan told Maisie about Sarah’s role in the lawsuit with Novarite and how she was the mastermind behind all of it, wanting to keep Sterling’s assets to herself by using her lover’s company, Novarite to overtake the Sterling.
“Maisie, you need to calm down. It is not your fault that they decided to be cruel people” Aidan said, combing his hands through her hair.
“But I was so good to them, I really didn’t deserve all these” she replied, sobbing quietly in his arms.
