My Stolen Love

Chapter 2

(Zaryas P.O.V)

     The meeting went without a hitch and I was walking towards the kitchen the get some breakfast. As I reached the kitchen some omegas stopped what they were doing and started at me. The staring, one of the things that pissed me off the most in the months after my parents and brother died. Some gave condolences. Some said nothing. But some felt the need to stare like I was going to lose it any second. 

We could always just make them stop breathing. 

     I heard my wolf pipe up. She sure has a temper, I chuckled to myself. Probably making them think I was losing it. The quickly looked away and went about their business. I decided to just make some toast since I did have training in about twenty minutes. 

     As I sit down to start eating an annoying and familiar voice comes from behind me. 

“Excuse me Alpha.” 

     I don’t know if I can deal with her today. 

“What on Earth do you want Kelsey?” I snap at the she-wolf. She smirks knowing she’s irritated me. She’s made it her life’s mission to annoy me to death and she just might. 

“I was just wondering if you’ve seen William around?” She says with a fake sweetness. A small growl escapes me and I turn to face her. She’s smaller than me in every way and she knows she’s weaker but yet she has to push my buttons. 

“Not since our meeting earlier. He was with Jeremy. Find him and bug off.” I snarl. She just giggled and left the room. She wasn’t even going to look for them. I rolled my eyes. 

     William and I tried to keep what we had a secret. We didn’t even know what it was, no way we could explain it to the pack. We weren’t mates but we both felt this unexplainable pull towards each other. But we slipped up one day. We were in the hallway in front of my bedroom and he had kissed me. Just as Kelsey walked into the hallway, no doubt being nosey. She had no reason being on the fifth floor that late at night. The fifth floor was solely for the Alpha and their family. William also stayed on that floor, being my personal guard and all.  

     I was lost in thought when my best friend Sarah somehow appeared next to me. 

“Whatcha thinking about?” 

“God Sarah you scared the life out of me!” I yelled as I grabbed my chest. We both started laughing. Sarah has been my best friend since we were born. “Nothing just Kelsey being a bitch.” I explain. 

“She’s really never going to get over the fact that William wouldn’t touch her with a ten foot pole huh?” She asks still laughing. 

“No I don’t think she will.” 

   Just then I realized I was late for training. 

“Oh s**t” I tell and take off running. 

     I can hear Sarah laughing as I get to the hallway. I don’t know how I would have gotten through this without her. She knew about Williams and I and never judged us. She also believes the mate bond is sacred but she can tell I love William just as much as she loves her mate.
