There was music in the air as the both of us walked out of the house looking our best, the night had a chill to it but nothing signaling we had to wear coats. Up and down the streets the adults were out now as the children already had their time to collect their Halloween treats. I haven't seen anyone in this town loose it yet, the streets were filled with laughter and merriment, it didn't look like Ashfield at all. Everywhere we went young fey were coming up to us asking if we wanted to have a taste of whatever it was they were offering. I could see some of the older and less appealing looking fey selling crystals and trinkets. There was dancing in the streets and watching them made me feel so giddy.
