Chapter Four YEAR 2019 Devin’s dark blue Mustang crept along the icy winter road. The snow fell thick and heavy, making visibility nearly impossible. It had been storming all night, and now in the early morning it was getting warmer and the roads were slippery. Sawyer sat in the passenger seat, excited for what the day promised to bring. Both boys were home from college on their Christmas break and were headed to meet some friends they hadn’t seen since the end of summer. Devin and Sawyer had been attending different schools for the last two and a half years, but when they got together their bond was as close as ever.
