Chapter Twenty-Six Doug watched his wife as she slept and wanted to stay in the room so he could be there if she needed anything. He even considered ordering room service. But he knew that would be noisy and she might not get the sleep that she needed. So the new groom left the room and headed to the main restaurant. The buffet was supposed to be open for another hour and a half. Walking across the grounds, Doug was concerned because he felt a bit chilled and more tired, too. After lunch, he would join Lisa for a nap. He entered the restaurant and got in line with dozens of other vacationers, not realizing that the incubation period had progressed to the point where he too was contagious. Doug looked at all the food on the expansive buffet and was impressed with the variety and quantity
