“Damian owns this?” I asked in shock as I stood in front of the enormous building. I knew Damian’s company was big, but I didn't know it was this big! Christy smiled and pulled me inside, I followed.
“Come on,” she said as she pulled me. “I’ll show you everything.”
And she did. Every office, the lobby, the penthouse where Damian rested, Damian's office, Matteo's office, and finally her office. I sighed as I sat on the couch in her office.
“You tired?”
“Exhausted,” I replied and she chuckled.
“Come on,” she stood up. “We need to introduce you to your colleagues,” she said and I sighed. “What?”
“What if they don't like me?”
Christy looked at me, amused before she scoffed. “Then they're stupid! Have you seen you? Come on, let's go,” she said and I smiled before I followed her.
