“That’s when I knew.
That’s when my heart screamed it was you.

Lynn smiled when the crowd cheered as she finished crooning the newly recorded song she had written for Alexis. She’d only laid down the track two weeks prior in the studio. It was the first time Alexis had even been able to hear it. Lynn’s gaze locked with her wife’s the entire time. When she saw the glistening wetness that lingered in Alexis’s penetrating stare, she’d barely been able to choke out the final lyrics. “Thank you,” she yelled into microphone. “You can find that on my upcoming CD. The single will be released to radio next week so be sure to call in and request it! Let’s take this song all the way to number one.”
