Seeing the effort my brother put into making sure Floxy was well taken care off made me realize that he loved her and It didn’t sit well with me. Remembering our promises to each other while we were kids made me feel that he has forgotten about it and has made his choice without considering me or my opinions on the matter and i wouldn’t let it go just like that. Yes call it childish, but i knew how many boys i left all cos my brother didn’t accept them and he’s not going to sweep it under the carpet just like that

Am sorry Meli, but i don’t like that boy and i know you wouldnt go against out promise just cos of a boy

But i like him, he’s a nice person, he stood up against Gwen and her cohorts when they bullied me cos you weren’t in school, at least i will have someone to look over me when you are not there, and i heard he’s an A student in his class, Angel you will see he’s a nice person when you get to know him, dont let this stupid promise we had in the past to make me loose someone i really want to date, please Angel, i kept begging him. But the devil refused to listen to me

It’s not my fault Meli, i don’t like him and you wont date him unless you want me to tell dad you trying to keep a bad boy as a boyfriend and you know what that means Meli, if you so want a boyfriend i can look up for one for you to date, but you see Nicholas am sorry you can’t date him and that is final. He left leaving me to bear the consequences of my promise with my brother, i cried till my eyes went sore,Angel didnt look back at me or try to console and yes I couldn’t date Nicholas cos Angel didnt approve it, and so were all other relationships i tried that Angel didnt like, even duo he brought different weirdos to me to date, i turned them down because i d couldn’t bear it. Normally i was supposed to revenge but that sly devil was smart enough to no let me see any of his girlfriends making me be on the loosing part of the deal. But now at this point, who said Karma isnt a b***h and i will be a very nasty one.
I had to go meet them at the balcony since we had dinner and i allowed them some line time, i think its time to have some fun. Reaching the balcony i heard giggles and saw them almost making out and i didn’t like that

Hey you guy’s, parental control here, theres a kid here big brother, i said trying not to sound angry.
Angel.
Oh common sweet sister of mine, we all know there’s no child here or are you implying that you a grown ass woman is child huh.....

I know, i know, i will like to attend a wedding first before having a niece or nephew to ruin my perfect make up please. I said. Smiling at them and obviously floxy was feeling shy and all what not which at that point wasn’t funny to me.
Floxy.
Am sorry sweet sister but your brother is just love struck and i cant help it but fall more deeply in love with him.

Oh really, i see you guys having much fun right now but am gonna have to steal my brother for a few seconds, i hope you wont mind.
Floxy.
Common he’s your brother for heavens sake and i cant steal him from you. So babe go talk to your sister ( she said pushing Angel from her body towards me)
Angel
Oh i see you ladies treating me like a piece of meat shoving me here and there but not to worry i will deal with you baby girl later. He s*****d her ass and she made those noises that would literally make my intestines twist. Ignoring those upsetting sounds of my belly i walked hand in hand with Angel into our daddy’s study which is sound proofed against eavesdropping and unwanted guest.
The study has been secured and sound proofed since papa had an incident when one of our staff eavesdropped on him and sold us out to a business rival thereby making us loose important deal with a multi million company and also other damages that occurred there after. In the house and office papas study has since been sound proof and any important discussion was made there. I walked to papa’s minibar i brought out two whiskey glass cups and brought a bottle of Tennessee whiskey and poured inside the glass cups, Angel seeing what I was doing went to the fridge and brought out ice cubes and set them on the table. We took our glasses and toasted to long life and our reunion. We took two more shots and i started feeling tipsy as i had low tolerance for alcohol. Seeing that Angel was already getting tipsy and probably would want to go back to his girlfriend i had to speak up.
I suppose you know I didn’t bring us to papas study for us to drink and get high i said smiling to him.
Angel.
I was thinking same way knowing papa will hang us if he finds out we went into his study to drink. We laughed reminiscing on when we hid in papas study and drank a bottle of champagne and passed out cos we were high and having low tolerance for alcohol we didn’t know when both our parents started looking for us and due nto the sound proof we hear when they called. When we woke up it was a new day and stepping out we saw the house filled with police and mama was crying thinking we were kidn*pped. Holding our pictures probably making a report. I still high didn’t understand what was happening but the way papa and mama rushed us to us made my head spin. To end our story short we were grounded for two weeks and we were also prohibited from entering papas study room till we were 21 and each. You can imagine such cruelty. We laughed it off and then i had to go straight to the point. Whats your plan with that girl.
Angel.
I intend marrying her. He said smiling at me. Shes makes me happy and i think i will propose to her soon, maybe when papa and mama get back and sees her.
I was so heartbroken hearing him obviously forgetting about our promises to each other. And also forgetting to ask for my opinion too. I had to spit it out

And i guess with this type of excitement you have forgotten about our promises and my opinion doesn’t count at all. Well I haven’t forgotten and the terms and conditions of that promises we made will have to be applied here. I said as a matter of fact.
