I woke as usual to the sense of warmth and comfort. I was getting used to waking up with Eggust's arms wrapped securely around me.
After that day Marlani called, Eggust assured me that he was willing to fight for me no matter what happened, and he doesn’t care what any thinks of us.
I made a mental note to give him a chance, I had been alone for the most part of my life, and spent the other part dealing with unrequited love. I didn’t want to throw away something genuine Eggust was willing to offer on a platter of gold, because of fear and shame.
