Noor & Ali

The meeting part 2!

Sara ends her talk and asks his feedback, the meeting finally reaches its end and as everyone starts getting up I quickly snatch my hand away and hurriedly grab my things to leave but he makes a surprising request.

"Sara can you spare me Ms Noor for a bit of help with some blue prints I have?"

A flash of surprise crossed my aunty's eyes before she blinks it away and smiles. "She's all yours Boss."

My heart melted as I saw him smirk.

We stand frozen in place, as everyone files into the elevator. As soon as the sound of the elevator door closes, he walks to his office door, shuts and locks it.

I hold my breath.

He pauses for a few seconds with his back towards me then slowly turns and looks at me. He leans against the back of the door and his eyes roam my face then lowers to my neck and it stays there.

"Sir, I want to say-" I began just as he says,

"Is it that easy to forget-"

We both stop and stare at each other.

"You go first," I say softly.

"Three months and 5 days, that's how long you chose to pretend nothing happened on my new years party, or was it that easy for you to forget?"

"Well you hadn't said anything either," I replied in defence.

"Ms Noor, you came onto me that night -"

"And you didn't stop me, infact you insisted for more even after I refused."

He scoffs and walks towards me, I move a step back but he's too fast. He corners me until I hit the round table, I grip the edges of the table and avert my eyes.

Slowly I feel his fingertips under my chin lifting my face until I meet his eyes, "Ms Noor, do you have any idea what you're doing to me?" He whispers, his voice like silk with yearning in his eyes.

My stomach curled and I found myself leaning forward. I wanted this so bad and we both knew it.

He places one hand on my back and the other cups my cheek.

"Stop me before I start!" He says this with authority but I don't move an inch and so he closes the distance between us.
