I saw the door opened. Hugh's dark eyes hit the man who entered. Echo's eyes and mine met. I held his hand tight and his eyes returned to me again.
"Do you really want me to go?" he asked.
I hissed and smiles afterwards.
"We won't last long."
Even though I knew he was against it, he still obeyed my wishes. He sighed and kissed my forehead before going out. I couldn't help but to smile watching him do nothing but to go out. He looked sharply at Echo but Echo was just staring at me.
I immediately lost my smile as Echo was the only one and I was the only one left inside.
"I never saw you smile like that in years of being married." he smiled sadly.
I blinked and cleared my throat. He went to the chair next to me and sat there. I'm sitting down on the bed.
"How's Val?"
