“What are we gonna do? What the hell are we gonna do, Gavin?” Camille ran her hands through her hair, trembling. “I can’t face Sapphire. She is stronger than me and you know it. Why would you allow your father to make such an announcement?”
Gavin rolled his eyes and folded his arms. “Come on, Camille,” he drawled. “Sapphire will not hurt you. She might be tough, but she still loves you,” he assured her, but she wasn’t buying it.
She saw the way Sapphire looked at her when the Alpha had mentioned that there was going to be a duel between the two of them. Sapphire would kill her if given the opportunity.
“You’re talking like you have no idea who she is. You dated her for two years! How can you not know that she is a psychopath?”
Gavin shrugged like he didn’t give a care
