10 Raerdel awoke with a splitting headache and a murderous rage. The only thing that served to calm her was she felt the baby kick and move as it normally did which relieved her. She opened her eyes and found herself tied to a table in a dark room that smelled of blood and sweat. Gabriel was standing near a small window looking out. “Ah, you’ve decided to wake finally. That’s good of you. We’ve much to do before your lovesick husband arrives.” His voice was very matter of fact, which always put chills up her spine.
