5 The next day, Raerdel found herself bundled up and on the way to the dark court. She couldn’t think too much on the departure from her home, or the fact that she truly felt like the mansion she shared with Sin was her home. He was restrained in his good-byes but she felt like he was doing all he could to control himself. She knew it was up to her to make this work if it was going to, but she feared he would not hesitate to level the dark court if something went badly.
